The Collections/Past Due Accounts Management Business Opportunity
All companies have past due accounts. Internal collection attempts are often expensive
and not very successful. Collection agencies "pick" the accounts they want to
collect and charge up to 50% of what is collected. The APS program is simple, low cost and
guaranteed. Companies quickly recognize its benefits and sales are easy.
The APS program is based on the psychology and impact a third party has on the payment
of bills by a debtor. The goal is to get our client's bills paid ahead of someone else's.
This is NOT a collection agency business. You will not be collecting, receiving, or in any
way, handling the company's payments, but you will substantially improve the collections
and therefore improve cash flow.
The program offers companies a low fixed cost, low risk way of collecting past due
accounts AND we guarantee the company will collect the cost of the service. They cannot
lose.
How it Works
As a licensee of APS you will market this service to businesses. Purchases may be
made in blocks of 25, 50 or 100 accounts and the cost is $14.00, $12.00 and $9.95 per
account, respectively. The company completes a form for each "account" (debtor)
and sends it to APS. APS then generates a series of letters to the debtor requesting
payment be made to the company. The third party involvement gets the debtor to pay.
There are three letter series designed for debtors of consumer/retail, commercial and
professional (doctors, dentists, etc.) businesses plus a series designed for bad
checks. There are several options the company can select, including one customized
line of text in the letter.
Potential Earnings
The potential earnings shown below are based on the number of accounts sold per
week. In the example, it is assumed the average fee per account sold is
$12.00. The Licensee pays a processing fee of $5.25 per account APS for printing,
mail preparation and postage. The example assumes there are 200 accounts sold per
week, an easily attainable sales figure.
Example: 200*($12.00 - $5.25)*52= $70,200 per year
The example also assumes Sales staff are paid 60% of your of your net, but the Licensee
may choose any percentage.
